Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with an hour for lunch. The shop is closed Saturday and Sunday. No on-call, no rota, no being asked to come in.

Hourly plus bonus, and on every job you are paid the greater of flat rate or hourly. So a job that fights you does not cost you money, and taking the time to do it properly is not a decision about your own pay.

- Three or more years on foreign makes preferred
- Diagnosis and repair across electrical, mechanical and computer systems
- Engine and component work, timing belt and chain service, brakes, suspension
- Confident with modern scan tools and wiring diagrams
- Volvo VIDA, Audi and VW VCDS or factory equipment a strong plus
- MACS A/C license strongly preferred
- ASE certification or manufacturer training a plus
- Valid license and a good driving record
Auto Lube Tech
Full timeRoutine maintenance, tire work, inspections and basic repairs. A good fit if you have some automotive or tire service behind you and want to keep building on it. We will train you up.
- Oil and filter changes, fluid checks and routine maintenance
- Mounting, balancing, rotating and repairing tires
- TPMS knowledge is essential
- Brake, battery and basic mechanical service
- Inspecting tires, brakes, suspension, belts and hoses
- Comfortable on lifts, tire machines and balancers
- Enough computer knowledge to reset service minders
- Mitchell or All-Data experience preferred
- Able to lift tires and work under vehicles, and to clear snow in winter

We are in the East Hillside neighborhood, a few minutes up from downtown Duluth and an easy run from Lakeside, Congdon, Woodland and Piedmont. Parking is free on site. If you need to leave the car before we open, call ahead and we will sort out the key.
Appointments are made by phone, not online. Call during shop hours and you will talk to someone who can tell you when we can actually get the car in.
