Across the Blatnik or the Bong and you are here. A short bridge run instead of a long drive to a dealership.
Auto repair for Superior, WI drivers happens here more often than people expect, because the trip is genuinely short. Cross the Blatnik or the Bong and you are 10 minutes or so from 722 E Ninth Street. For anybody driving a BMW, Audi, Volvo, Volkswagen, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, Jaguar or Range Rover, that beats every other specialist option by a very large margin.
The Twin Ports share a climate and they share the consequences of it. Superior sits on the same lake, gets the same road salt and hands cars the same fall-to-spring beating. What we see on a car with Wisconsin plates is not different from what we see on one with Minnesota plates, and it is largely a rust, cooling and battery story.
Plenty of our Superior customers are people who were making the drive to a metro dealership two or three times a year for scheduled service. That is a long day for an oil change. The same work happens here, to the same specification, documented the same way.
The nearest dealer for most foreign makes is a long drive. Factory-interval maintenance done here is documented and does not affect your warranty.
We get a steady stream of cars that have already had parts fitted elsewhere. Bring the invoices, it genuinely speeds things up.
Same lake, same salt. Corroded brake lines are a Twin Ports problem, not a Minnesota one.
Plastic cooling components on foreign engines have a service life and the climate finds it. Pressure testing is how we locate the real leak.
Buying from a private seller on either side of the bay is worth an hour on the lift before the money moves.
Battery, charging, coolant strength, tires and lighting, ideally in October rather than after the first storm.

Of course. A good portion of our regular customers cross the bridge, and it makes no difference to the work or the price.
Call ahead and we will talk through timing. A lot of Superior customers drop the car in the morning and arrange a ride back, and if the job is a same-day one we will tell you honestly whether that is realistic.
Yes. All three are on our makes list and all three are regular work here.
